Batman: Arkham Knight coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 14
The final chapter to the Batman gaming franchise has been announced and this time players will get to ride the Batmobile.
Warner Brothers Games has officially announced the final installment of the critically acclaimed Batman gaming franchise — Batman Arkham Knight. The game has been developed by Rocksteady Studios and is scheduled for released on all major platforms, including PS4, Xbox One and PC, on 14th of October 2014.
The gaming franchise started out with the first game, Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009 which was followed by Arkham City in 2011. Last year we saw Batman: Arkham Origins which was actually a prequel to both the games. Arkham Knight will continue the story from Arkham City.
Arkham Knight will feature some well-known enemies including Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin and Scarecrow. The game will also see a new villain specially crafted for the game which will be a dark reflection of Batman himself. It will look like a ‘militaristic’ version of Batman with an Asylum ‘A’ symbol on its chest.
Another new addition to look forward to, will be the Batmobile, which can be called anytime during the game. It will be the first vehicle addition to the game and shares its looks with the Batmobile seen in the Dark Knight movie franchise.
The game is already up for pre-order for US residents only. You can check out the trailer of the game below:
