Assassin’s Creed III gameplay trailer announced
Technically the fifth game in the Assassins Creed universe, but still titled Assassins Creed 3, Ubisoft, the developer behind the franchise has revealed the first gameplay footage of the game to the public. Assassin’s Creed III is the opening chapter of two new stories: one of Connor, the newest Assassin, and one of a new nation, both in an epic fight for land and freedom. In this gameplay world premiere, we can see early American city of Boston, see the lead protagonist battle man and beast alike while exploring the vast open frontier, and witness to the intensity and excitement of the Battle of Bunker Hill — one of the most famous battles of American History.
The footage is captured from a pre alpha code of the game, but the trailer still looks pretty sweet. In this iteration of the game, you will don the role of Conner, born to an English father and a Native American mother. Conner is raised in the Mohawk tribe. True to tradition, the game will introduce you to historic characters such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Charles Lee.

The game runs on an updated engine of the original called Anvil Next. In the trailer, you will see Conner performing some sweet assassination moves, take on a bear and run across tree branches in the same way that Ezio maneuvered over rooftops. There is also one sweet moment where Conner runs from treetops through the corridor of a building and back on treetops. The trailer will undoubtedly give you an adrenalin rush!
