The popular anime series follows the story of Loid Forger, a secret agent who must pretend to be a family man. He formed a fictitious family in order to complete his secret mission. He adopts a young orphanage girl named Anya Forger as part of his mission, unaware that she is a telepath, who can read minds. Later, to raise his daughter, he married a woman named Yor Forger, unaware that she is a professional assassin. The family follows the plot despite not knowing each other’s secrets.
