Pushpa 2 was released last month and ever since then, it has been breaking box office records. Theatres are going houseful, and even a month later, the movie has received a crazy response. Not only in India but Pushpa 2 has broken many records globally. It only lags behind Dangal as the highest-grossing Indian film globally at Rs 2,059 crores. Considering the overwhelming response, the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule have announced a reloaded version of the blockbuster film.
When and where to watch Pushpa 2 reloaded version?
This reloaded version of the movie features 20 minutes of bonus footage. The updated version will be released in theaters on January 11. With this, many more fans are expected to go watch the movie in theatres.
The additional footage in the reloaded version reportedly includes extended scenes from the Japan sequence. In addition to this, there can be other new scenes too that promise to elevate the movie’s intensity.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the film, revealed the news on social media, sharing a new poster of Allu Arjun in an intense avatar. The post read, “#Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION with 20 minutes of added footage will play in cinemas from 11th January. The WILDFIRE gets extra FIERY.”
Industry experts believe that the reloaded version is a strategic move to sustain Pushpa 2’s dominance at the box office during the competitive Sankranthi season. Upcoming releases like Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, and Venkatesh Daggubati’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam can take away some attention from it.
Pushpa 2: The Rule has already surpassed the lifetime collections of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion by grossing Rs 1,831 crores worldwide in just 32 days. If we consider its global impact, in North America, Pushpa 2 ranks as the fourth-highest Tollywood grosser, trailing Baahubali 2, Kalki 2898 AD, and RRR.
