Directed by Kamal Prakash, the film hit theatres on March 7 in Tamil and Telugu and impressed viewers with its narrative and strong performances. Kingston plot

Set in the coastal village of Thoovathur, Tamil Nadu, Kingston shifts between two timelines—1982 and the present day. The village is plagued by a curse that forces its residents to abandon fishing, their primary livelihood. In the present, Kingston (played by GV Prakash Kumar) works for a smuggling gang led by Thomas (Sabumon Abdusamad) in Thoothukudi. However, after a significant incident, Kingston decides to leave his criminal life behind and return to his village, hoping to revive fishing. As he confronts the mystery of the curse, the film unfolds a thrilling mix of supernatural elements, action, and suspense.
