The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom Freestyle Collection adds to the already existing line of speakers. These are IPX6 rated, and are water and dust proof.
American custom audio equipment-maker Ultimate Ears has launched the latest lineup of portable, seriously waterproof, go-anywhere Wonderboom Freestyle Collection speakers in five designs: Concrete, Avocado, Patches, Raspberry and Unicorn. Ultimate Ears Wonderboom Freestyle Collection is now available at Croma as well as other leading retail stores in India at price of Rs 6,995. The device comes with a two-year limited hardware warranty.
The company claims that Wonderboom Freestyle can be taken to showers, pools, beaches, muddy fields and used in rainy days. If the speakers gets dirty, they can just be rinsed off with water. The Wonderboom Freestyle is also claimed to be drop-proof from up to five feet. “Wonderboom Freestyle Collection gives you big sound and the freedom to express your style in a trendy, tough and worry-proof speaker. The new collection strengthens the Ultimate Ears portfolio for the Indian market with industry leading speakers across entry, mid and premium range,” said Sumanta Datta, Managing Director and Cluster Head, South West Asia and Indonesia, Logitech.
Wonderboom Freestyle Collection adds to the already existing line of Wonderboom speakers that offer a 360-degree sound with balanced bass. Wonderboom is IPX7 rated so it can be immersed in water up to one metre for up to 30 minutes. The company claims that the speaker floats, has up to 10-hour battery life and 100-foot wireless Bluetooth range.
