Sony has launched a new range of high definition audio headphones and amplifier in India. The MDR Z7 headphones and PHA-3 amplifier are priced at Rs 41,990/- and Rs 74,990/- respectively.
The Sony MDR Z7 headphones feature a 70mm HD driver unit with sub-bass lows to crystalline highs. The headphones have an inward axis structure for maximum wearing stability. It is designed with freshly-developed 70mm HD driver unit that according to the company covers the listener’s ear completely for sound clarity. The headphones can reproduce sound up to 100 kHz for crystal clear sound.
MDR-Z7 headphones when combined with PHA-3 sound amplifier give a unique balanced connection circuit in which the left and right channel signals are transmitted separately to the headphones. Sony says that the MDR-Z7 headphones come with a special silver-coated OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) cable that reduces signal transmission loss.
According to the company the high resolution PHA-3 amplifier helps in reducing the cross talk that leads to less mixture of sound resulting in crystal clear sound output. It comes with DSEE HX technology, which when connected to the compatible smartphones, laptop and Walkman with a USB cable and digital signals. The amplifier comes with a dedicated power source that supplies power without consuming the smartphone’s battery.
Priced at Rs 41,990/- and Rs 74,990/- respectively the MDR Z7 headphones and PHA-3 amplifier are exclusively available at AVIT Sony center, New Delhi.
