After Apple’s iPhone launch, all eyes have now moved to Android brands. And Nothing is here to mark its presence. The company has teased a new product launch. It will take place in the coming week on September 24. The brand was quick to share this announcement on X. It took to X to share the new tagline of the product “out in open”. This directly hints at the fact that the upcoming device could be a new set of open-ear earbuds.
This also goes in line with the recent leaks and rumours that have been circulating online. Last month itself, regulatory findings indicated that Nothing could be working on a new set of earbuds, the “Ear Open”. We are uncertain right now if this is the final name, but the word “open” remains constant. As per the leaks, Nothing is probably trying to bring an open-ear design this time. The goal is to allow users to stay connected to their surroundings while still enjoying wireless audio.

This is not the first audio product release from Nothing. Earlier this year, it released the Nothing Ear and Ear (a). What can differentiate the upcoming earbuds from this is the fact that both models featured a typical bud-in-ear design and with the “Ear Open” we might get to see an open-ear design. So we will get a different experience with the ambient sounds and all.
But apart from this, Nothing is tight-lipped about every other detail. We have no official details about the upcoming earbuds and are relying only on the limited leaks and rumours online. We will have to wait till September 24 to see what Nothing has to offer. Until then, I would suggest that you take this with a pinch of salt.
