For a while, Nothing had been teasing its new earbuds and now they are finally out. Nothing has finally unveiled its latest Nothing Ear (open). As is always the case with Nothing, the design is pretty interesting this time too. As the name suggests, the Nothing Ear (open) features an open-ear design. The Nothing Ear (open) starts at Rs 17,999. The focus is on a design that offers minimum leakage with enhanced audio quality. It features a flexible silicone ear hook reinforced with a nickel-titanium wire. This ensures a more secure and comfortable fit.
The Ear (open) is mainly about comfort but each bud weighs just 8.1 grams. The speakers are also tilted at a 50-degree angle, directing sound straight toward the ear for an optimal listening experience.
The wireless earphones feature a 14.2 mm dynamic audio driver. Further, the Nothing Ear (open) promises an enhanced audio profile, and it boosts mid and high frequencies by up to 3 dB. There’s also a custom titanium-coated diaphragm which reduces distortion and enhances low-frequency sounds to provide richer bass.
It also has a dual-microphone setup with AI-powered Clear Voice Technology. It promises improved call quality, low lag mode for gaming, and support for Microsoft Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair for easy connectivity. Find my earbuds option is also available.
On the battery front, the Nothing Ear (open) offers up to eight hours of playback time and six hours of talk time on a single charge. If you add the. charging case to that, the total playback time extends to 30 hours and talk time to 24 hours.
