HIGHLIGHTS

These earbuds was recently spotted on UAE’s TDRA certification site.

It has been labeled as a ‘low power device’ on the IMDA website.

Nothing might soon unveil new earbuds. The company has not shared any details about the upcoming launch but the earbuds have already been spotted online, on various certification websites. This makes it pretty clear that something is under work. These upcoming buds can be the Nothing Ear Open.

The Nothing Ear Open was recently spotted on UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) certification site, confirming their existence. Previously, the Nothing Ear Open was even spotted on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification site. All of this reveals that the buds might be launched in the coming future.

What do we know about Nothing Ear Open?

Thanks to the TDRA certification listing, we know that the new earbuds will be officially named Nothing Ear Open. They currently go by the model number B182. But that’s mostly all that we can find out from these listings. Specs and all are yet unknown. But media reports suggest that the Nothing Ear Open could be launching soon in multiple markets, including UAE, Singapore, India, and the UK. This will add to the company’s existing lineup of the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) TWS earbuds in India, priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 7,999, respectively.

It has been labeled as a ‘low power device’ on the IMDA website. Further, Nothing might expand beyond its traditional markets this time. We might also get to see ChatGPT integration with these earbuds as we previously saw on the Nothing Ear (stick), Nothing Ear (2), and CMF Buds. Users can use ChatGPT as their AI assistant on these phones.

As I mentioned earlier, there has been no communication about this from Nothing’s side. So even though we expect that these buds will drop soon, the actual date is not known yet. Let’s wait for that and see what Nothing has to offer.
