LG is known to make several announcements every year before CES (Consumer Electronics Show that is organized by Consumer Technology Association (CTA)) every year. Continuing with that tradition LG has launched new soundbar models, and the company has revealed some of the details of the products. The LG soundbars will apparently be put on display in Vegas and be equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for providing users with an immersive sound experience.
The SC9 and SE6 which are the names of the new models will also have the Wow Orchestra, which is, according to the company, a tool that “utilizes every one of the two products’ audio channels to create an expanded soundstage with improved height, depth and power."
While this vague definition was all that we have, the company did clarify that the feature will launch via a software update. Wowcast can also be used by the soundbars to connect to the television wirelessly using WiFi. Once you do manage to successfully sync the devices, the audio settings can be accessed through the Home Dashboard on the display of the soundbars which will come via a future update.
Both soundbars come equipped with features like Triple Sound Optimizer, Smart Up-mixer, AI Room Calibration tailors and an AI Sound Pro too. The Triple Sound Optimizer helps in giving the performance a “boost”. The Smart Up-mixer is used to turn audio into a multi-channel surround system. And as LG claims, the AI Room Calibration, has the capability to tailor each of the soundbar according to the place you put it and thereby improves the low-end frequency. The AI Sound Pro can analyze the music of whatever game or music you are playing to apply the best setting to them thereby giving the users an optimized hearing experience.
