JBL launches Boombox 2, Go 3 and Clip 4 Bluetooth speakers in India

JBL has launched successors to some of its popular speakers in India. These include the JBL Boombox 2, Go 3 and Clip 4. According to JBL, “each speaker will offer distinct features and upgrades from their last version.” The JBL Go 3 has a new compact form factor while the JBL Clip 4 features a rugged, waterproof & dustproof design. The JBL Boombox 2 claims 24 hours of playback time.

JBL Go 3 features, specifications and price

Kicking things off with the JBL Go 3, the portable Bluetooth speaker boasts of a new more rounded design when compared to the JBL Go 2. It is available in fewer colour options than its predecessor – blue, red and black. The JBL Go 3 is IP67 waterproof and dustproof. It also has 5 hours of playback on a complete charge. The speaker is quite light, weighing 0.21 kg. Users can connect the speaker to their smartphone using Bluetooth, and it connects using Bluetooth 5.1. It has a USB-C port for charging and can be completely charged in 2.5 hours. 

The JBL Go 3 has an MRP of Rs 3,999 but on the JBL India website is available for Rs 2,999.

JBL Clip 4 features, specifications and price

The JBL Clip 4 has a slight design change when compared to its predecessor and is available in a number of colours, including some dual-tone options. The speaker boasts 10 hours of playback and is IP67 waterproof and dustproof. It has a fully integrated carabiner hook to secure it to your backpack. The speaker is light, weighing 0.239 kg. It supports Bluetooth 5.1 and can charge completely in 3 hours. It charges via the USB-C port.

JBL Boombox 2 features, specifications and price

Last but not least, we have the JBL Boombox 2. JBL claims that it is “the loudest JBL boombox ever”. It boasts 24 hours of playback and is IPX7 waterproof. The device can also double up as a power bank to charge your smartphone. The speaker is heavy weighing 5.9kgs. The 10000mAh battery can reach a full charge in 6.5 hours. In addition to Bluetooth, it also has support for 3.5mm connectivity. 

The JBL Boombox 2 has an MRP of Rs 33,999 but on the JBL India website, it is available for Rs 31,999.
