The Allure comes with Amazon’s smart assistant Alexa which operates on voice commands to read news, play music, shop on Amazon and more.
Harman Kardon has launched its Allure speaker in India which sports a 360-degree design and features voice assistance via Amazon’s Alexa. The Bluetooth speaker was unveiled at IFA back in August 2017 and in India, will be exclusively available for Prime members on Amazon.in starting today at a price of Rs 22,490.
The speaker can be controlled via voice commands. The company says that using Alexa, users can read the news, control a smart home, play music, make purchases on Amazon, and more. The Allure also sports a 360-degree ambient lighting system that the company claims, reacts to voice commands and changes as per the music playing on the device. The Allure comes with far-field voice technology to let users interact with it from afar even in a noisy environment.

Alexa also allows users to access India-specific skills from various areas like Travel (Uber, Ola, Goibibo, Jet Airways), Food (Faasos, Box8, Freshmenu, Zomato, Tarla Dalaal), Sports & Entertainment updates (Amazon Prime Music, Saavn, ESPNCricinfo, Bollywood Hungama), News and Education (Times of India, NDTV, ABP Live, AajTak, Byju's), and Home Services (UrbanClap, Housejoy) among others. Users can also voice control their Smart Home (Syska, Phillips, Silvan) using Alexa.
