5 new things we gather from the Nothing Ear 2 leak that gets us excited for March 22 launch
Nothing Ear 2 is launching on March 22, 2023.
But ahead of the launch day, we have got our hands on the press material, renders, and other details about the Nothing TWS buds.
Here are the leaked design and spec details about the Nothing Ear (2) buds.
Nothing Ear 2 is set to officially see daylight on March 22 but just a week before the big day, a couple of leaks of the Ear 2 renders, press material, and specifications leave hardly anything to the imagination. Thanks to OnLeaks (via The Tech Outlook) and Snoopytech for these leaks.
Nothing Ear 2: Everything you need to know
1. Design
In a quick look, Nothing Ear 2 bares a resemblance to its precursor. However, when you pay closer attention, you may note the ANC mics have been positioned differently and there seem to be some new components. Also, the sharp eyes among you may spot the “ear (2)” branding on the transparent stem.
Each bud reportedly weighs 4.5 grams (which is a tad lighter than the original) and also offers IP54 dust and water resistance.
2. Sound
Nothing Ear 2 is said to pack an 11.6mm driver. To personalize the sound, you could be getting Advanced EQ settings.

For tuning out the outside noise, Ear 2 supposedly gets hybrid ANC (active noise cancellation) as well as personalized ANC settings for tighter control of unwanted sounds.
4. Multipoint connection
Nothing Ear 2 is upgraded with Bluetooth multipoint connectivity support which should let the user simultaneously connect to two devices.
