Viral photo sharing app, Prisma, is bringing its AI-powered video filters to Facebook’s Live videos. The feature, though, will be limited to iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S users, at least for now. It allows you to choose from eight different filters from Prisma, while on Facebook Live. You can also change filters in the middle of your broadcast.
According to Prisma, the video processing for this feature is done locally on your phone, which is why only the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S support it. Apparently, other phones aren’t powerful enough to handle this kind of processing. Prisma CEO, Alexey Moiseenkov, even demonstrated the feature with a live of his own.
