The “Some updates were misunderstood” option is expected to enable channel owners to clarify that certain updates or content were misinterpreted. On the other hand, the “This channel follows all Channel Guidelines” option will likely offer the admins the ability to assert that their content aligns with WhatsApp’s guidelines, emphasising compliance to rectify any potential oversights or errors in the suspension, which might have been automated by an algorithm.

The “Updates like these should be allowed” option would be helpful when the channel owner thinks that the suspended content is within acceptable boundaries and aligns with the company’s policies.

The “This channel shouldn’t be closed” option will likely help channel owners who believe their suspension is unfair or involves unique circumstances, they can choose this option to request a reevaluation. This option also serves as a straightforward way for channel owners who might be uncertain about the reasons behind their channel’s suspension.

It’s important to note that this feature is currently under development and it is expected to be available in a future update of the app.

Recently, WhatsApp launched a new voice chat feature for large groups. Once you start the voice chat, group members will receive a push notification to join instead of a call. The new voice chat feature is only available for groups of 33 to 128 people.
