WhatsApp has rolled out its new update for iOS devices which allows users to play voice messages to play even when in a different chat. It allows you to listen to your voice and audio messages without any interruption even if you switch to a different chat. The users can now text in a different chat while listening to voice notes from WhatsApp.
Earlier when users had to listen to a voicemail message they had to stay in the same chat, and if they tried to change to a different chat, the voice message would stop playing. The audio message would by default resume from the beginning which was a hassle, with the new update it should be resolved. WhatsApp has been making changes to its app and voice message feature for quite some time now. The new feature also includes the ability to pause and play voice messages without starting over. You can also verify your voice message before sending it and change the audio if you aren’t satisfied with it.
The new update was tested last month for all beta users and is now finally available for all iOS users. There is no still no information on when it will be made available for android and desktop app users. The update is globally available for all users with WhatsApp for iOS v22.4.75.
