This feature will make it convenient to catch up on what your contacts are sharing without switching between different tabs. Overall, this enhancement will simplify the experience of staying updated with contacts.
The inclusion of status updates in the conversation screen will allow users to stay engaged with updates without disrupting their ongoing chats. This feature resembles Instagram Stories which enable users to see stories within conversations without switching tabs or screens.
This streamlined navigation will not only boost efficiency but will also create a more user-friendly experience.
Importantly, if you mute status updates from a contact, you won’t see their updates when opening the conversation with that contact.
Recently, WhatsApp launched a new voice chat feature for large groups. Once you start the voice chat, group members will receive a push notification to join instead of a call. The new voice chat feature is only available for groups of 33 to 128 people. Group members not in the voice chat can see the profiles of those in the voice chat from the chat header and the Calls tab.
