The new search message by date feature will likely be very helpful for users as one of the main benefits is the improved ability to find specific messages from past conversations.
This date-based search feature will likely save users time by allowing them to quickly locate messages from a specific date without the need to scroll through extensive chat histories. It might also eliminate frustration caused due to scrolling through long chat histories.
Recently, it was reported that WhatsApp had started working on a new group chat filter feature for WhatsApp Web. This feature is expected to allow users to sort their chats based on specific filters. WhatsApp Web is expected to offer three different filters aimed at enhancing chat organisation, categorising chats into unread messages, personal conversations and group chats. Introducing a feature that enables users to filter their chats, displaying only personal conversations and group chats, will likely enhance organisation. The separation of these chat types is expected to allow users to quickly locate specific conversations.
