WhatsApp users can now personalise their video calls in fun and creative ways with filters and backgrounds.

WhatsApp has introduced ten different filters.

WhatsApp has also introduced Touch Up and Low Light options.

When it comes to video calling, WhatsApp is my go-to platform. It’s very easy to use, allowing me to connect with friends and family no matter where they are. I’ve always loved how simple it is to start a video call, but now, WhatsApp has taken things to the next level by rolling out filters and backgrounds to make our video calls even more engaging. This reminds me of the fun I used to have using Snapchat for video calls, where I loved experimenting with different filters.

With these new features, you can now personalise your WhatsApp video calls in fun and creative ways. Whether you are catching up with a friend or having a work meeting, adding a filter or changing your background adds a unique touch to the conversation. This makes it feel more personal and expressive, bringing a playful vibe.

WhatsApp has introduced ten different filters. From a warm glow to a dreamy look, you can pick the perfect filter to match your mood. Some of the fun options include Black & White, Vintage TV, and Frosted Glass.

Additionally, if you’re looking to keep your surroundings private, the new background options are a game-changer. You can choose from settings like a cosy living room, a beach, or even a lively cafe. This way, you can maintain a clean and polished appearance without worrying about what’s behind you.

WhatsApp has also introduced Touch Up and Low Light options. According to the company, these options can “help you feel more confident and comfortable by naturally enhancing the look and brightness of your environment, making your video calls more vibrant and enjoyable.”

To access these features during a WhatsApp video call, simply tap the effects icon in the top right corner of the screen. You’ll see the full selection of filters and backgrounds to choose from.

Keep an eye out for these updates, as they will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
