WhatsApp Beta 2.22.23.15: What’s new?
If you’re part of the WhatsApp Beta, then you shall receive the update with version number 2.22.23.15. While not a lot of features have been added with this update, it does include a feature that introduces support for forwarding captions with media files.
The media files include images, videos, GIFs, and documents. If the feature is enabled, then users will be able to see a new message box at the bottom to add text or remove the caption by tapping the dismiss icon. Not all Beta users have received this update just yet, but reports suggest that more Beta users will start to get the update soon.

- On your Android smartphone, go to the Google Play Store
- Next, search for WhatsApp
- On the WhatsApp page, scroll down to the bottom where you will spot the ‘Become a beta tester' panel
- Click on ‘I'm in' and then confirm with ‘Join'.
- Congrats! As you’ve now become a Beta tester for WhatsApp.
- In case the Beta program for WhatsApp is currently full, then the only option you’re left with is to wait for your chance!
