As someone who loves using emojis and stickers to add a touch of personality to conversations, I’m excited to share some great news from WhatsApp. The app is rolling out several new features designed to make sticker use even more fun and personalised. New and searchable GIPHY stickers
First up, WhatsApp has teamed up with GIPHY to bring an extensive collection of stickers right into the app. This integration allows you to find and share relevant and engaging stickers, without having to leave the app. Just tap the sticker icon and start searching using text or emoji to find the perfect sticker for any mood or message. It’s a seamless way to keep your chats lively and expressive.

Custom Sticker Maker is now on Android
Another exciting addition is the Custom Sticker Maker, which is now available on Android. This feature, which iOS users have already been enjoying, lets you create and edit your own stickers directly within WhatsApp. Whether you want to turn your photos into personalised stickers or customise existing ones with text and drawings, the process is simple and intuitive. Your creations will be saved in the sticker tray for easy access and sharing with friends and family.
AI stickers for more personalisation
If you’re struggling to find the perfect sticker, you can use Meta AI to generate custom stickers. This feature is currently available on both iPhone and Android in the US, with Android users also able to create stickers in Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia.

Sticker Organisation
Finally, WhatsApp is making it easier to discover stickers. You’ll now be able to easily discover new sticker packs from WhatsApp by previewing them in the sticker tray below your downloaded ones. To organise your sticker tray, you can also tap and hold a sticker to move to top or delete it.
