Uber One is a subscription service from Uber. You get perks such as ride discounts, priority support, and exclusive offers for members when you subscribe to it. Prior to its launch in India, the Uber One service already had over 25 million global subscribers.
Uber One subscriptions
There are three different subscription plans that you can choose from:
- Rs 149 for a month
- Rs 349 for three months
- Rs 1,499 annually
With every trip that a user takes after subscribing to Uber One, they also earn Uber Credits which are capped at Rs 150 per trip. This helps reduce ride costs. To make the deal even sweeter, Uber One is offering a three-month Zomato Gold membership when users buy a plan.
Along with this, Uber has introduced several new safety features as well. This includes OS integration, a helmet selfie feature for pillion riders, and a women rider preference for female drivers to make its Uber rides a lot more safer and comfortable for users.
Uber One comes at a time when new players such as Namma Yatri, which is backed by Google, is trying to come up with their own subscription plans in an already competitive market. Uber hopes that it can stand out with this plan against its competitors.
