As per a few reports, Twitter’s Elon Musk is soon planning to make the edit feature for tweets available to everyone for free. As of now, Twitter’s edit function is only available to subscribers of Twitter Blue, so anyone who pays $5 a month can use this feature. However, this feature has still not been made free, meaning not everyone can use it, until now.
Because according to a report from Platformer’s Casey Newton, Twitter is soon planning to make the edit button free for everyone, not just Twitter Blue subscribers.

One thing to keep in mind is that tweets can only be edited within 30 minutes from the time of posting and they can only be edited up to 5 times.
Recently, Elon Musk himself confirmed that the company would be increasing the price of their Twitter Blue subscription from the current $4.99 price to $8 per month. Along with the verification badge, this update for Twitter Blue is also said to add features like having a paid verified profile, priority in replies, mentions, and more.
