Twitter now lets you crop and rotate photos within app
Continuing its focus on the images, Twitter now makes it easier for users to edit photos before uploading on the social networking website.
Twitter has rolled out an important update to its mobile version, making it easier for users to take pictures, crop them or even rotate within the app. The update is already available for Android users and it will be soon available on the iOS platform.
“Now you can crop your photos by selecting an aspect, such as square or wide. You can rotate an image before you share it to make sure it fits nicely in your Tweet. And when you upload a photo of people, you’ll see a reminder to @ mention your friends so they can see your photo too,” says Twitter in a blog post.
With the new update, Twitter users can pull down on home timeline to refresh it. If there are no new tweets, users may see recommended Tweets, trending topics and suggestions for new accounts to follow. For US users, Twitter will show sports and news events updates as well.
