Spotify rewards feature available for Premium Mini users
Spotify is now offering a rewards program for people who have a Premium Mini subscription.
India will be the first to get this feature.
Spotify recently made headlines for Spotify Wrapped 2022.
Spotify has launched a new rewards program for its Indian subscribers. Users who pay for the premium plan get access to features like downloading songs, enjoying an ad-free listening experience, and being a part of group sessions. The plans can cost ₹7 per day, and ₹119 per month.
Spotify also rolled out a new plan known as the Premium Mini back in December 2020 for users who did not want to pay for the regular premium plan. Now, the company has revealed that it will offer rewards to those who have this plan.
After months of development and testing, today at @Spotify my team has launched our new baby, built with Asia in mind: Rewards Program.

What is the Spotify rewards program?
Szymon Kopeć, a product manager at Spotify, revealed this plan on Twitter. India will be the first to receive this feature before it rolls out to other countries in Asia. The app will feature a new section called Rewards, which will have three categories – Challenges, Help, and Rewards.
The first challenge that you will encounter will be using the Premium Mini plan for 10 days within a month. After you do so, you will gain access to a discounted price of the Premium Mini plan. This plan is generally offered at ₹25 per week, however, it will be available for ₹2 if you complete the challenge.
This is an example of the kinds of challenges and rewards one may see on the app. All the rewards will be displayed in the Rewards section of the app.
