Snapchat is a fun social media app with all the cool filters to suit your different moods. Over the years, Snapchat has been experimenting with different features to keep up its game. Recently, it introduced its membership subscription, called the Snapchat Plus plan that offered some cool features like restoring the snap streaks, setting up custom wallpapers, and all.
Snapchat is reportedly extending its subscription plans to offer more and to cater to a wider audience. Reports suggest that Snapchat is planning to extend the subscription plan with the “Friends and Family” plan. Let’s take a look at what this is.

Android Authority recently reported that Snapchat was indeed working on a “Friends and Family” plan. Once subscribed to this plan, users will be able to share their subscription with their friends and family. On top of that, they will be able to add and remove friends as per their wishes. Kind of like how we share our Spotify Premium. But we don’t know the number of people who will be allowed under a single plan.
The pricing is yet to be revealed. Technically, it should be much higher than the individual plan but it will be cheaper than when all the friends and family are buying their own separate plan.

In addition to the Friends and Family plan, Snapchat could also unveil a new Snapchat Plus Annual Plan. The report speculates that if you go for this annual plan, then you might get discounts on your subscription fee.
Currently, the monthly subscription to Snapchat Plus costs ₹49. You even get a free 7-day trial period.
