Nokia bundles premium apps and games with select smartphone models
Nokia has announced it will be bundling premium apps and games worth Rs. 3850 for free on select smartphone models – namely, Nokia C5-05, Nokia C5-03, Nokia 500, Nokia 603 and Nokia 701. Interestingly, the offer is available for both existing owners and new buyers, where the former will be able to download the apps and games.
The list of games includes offerings from EA Sports, namely – FIFA ‘12, EA Cricket ’11, Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’11, Tekken, Medal of Honor and Need for Speed. Other games include Monopoly, FIFA ‘11, Flight Control, Zuma’s Revenge and Hard Rock collection.
As for apps, Nokia will be bundling such premium utility ones for Nokia C5-05 and Nokia C5-03 users, such as SMS scheduler, SMS spam manager, call recorder, contacts hider and message hider.
To activate the offer, users will have to SMS <NokiaApps><ModelNo> to 55555 (e.g., NokiaAppsC5), and will receive a confirmation.
