AI is taking the world by storm and everyone is now incorporating AI into their apps and platforms. The newest member to join this game is Microsoft Teams. Teams will get to see major improvements to its AI-powered Copilot feature. With this, Microsoft promises better meeting experiences and enhanced workflow.
Microsoft had already incorporated Copilot into the Teams app, which was seen as an important addition. Now, with this new upgrade, users will be able to convert spoken transcripts and written chats from a meeting into a unified view. If you have missed out on a meeting, then this is definitely going to help.
“By combining spoken transcripts and written chats into a single view, Copilot in Teams will provide users with a seamless experience for reviewing meeting content,” said Microsoft in a recent blog post.

In addition to this, Copilot has been improved to help users in composing messages within Teams chats more efficiently. Microsoft wants to refine Copilot messages by adding calls to action. It even wants to go more creative with this, for example, it wants Copilot to adopt a pirate’s manner of speech.
Apart from that, Microsoft will also introduce features to enhance hybrid meeting experiences in Teams. This can include features like automatic camera switching, which might be released later this year. This feature will be powered by AI, and will intelligently select the optimal camera during meetings, to ensure that the remote participants receive an unobstructed view.
