Meta AI on WhatsApp can now talk in real-time, help you edit photos and more

At the recent Meta Connect event, Meta unveiled exciting updates that are set to revolutionise how users interact with Meta AI on WhatsApp. Since bringing Meta AI on WhatsApp, the company has received overwhelmingly positive feedback and is now taking it a step further. 

Meta announced a new set of updates that will make it possible for WhatsApp users to talk to Meta AI in real-time with their voice or send it photos to edit. According to the company, the new features will make it easier for more users to explore their ideas, improve their chats, and try new things.

• Talk to me: You can now speak to Meta AI and it will talk back. You just have to hold down on the waveform button to ask a question and let Meta AI explain something you’re curious about. You will also be able to choose from different voice options including from celebrities from around the world.
• Look at this: You can now send a photo to Meta AI and get answers about the world around you. For instance, you can take a picture of a menu in a foreign language and ask for a translation, or take a picture of a plant and ask how to take care of it.
• Edit my photo: You can now take help from Meta AI to edit your own photo such as adding, removing, or changing something. For example, you can remove a random stranger from the background or change colours on an object to see something in a new light.

Meta is also expanding its business AIs, so that more people will get faster service when talking to a business.
