However the company has reserved some features for its premium customers

Lastpass has announced a new offer under which users can sync passwords across multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, and Windows/Mac/Linux for free. Users can now access their information on multiple devices using any of Lastpass's apps. In addition to LastPass iOS and macOS apps, the company’s services are now also as extensions on web browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Opera. The company has however reserved some features for its premium subscribers.

The $1 per month plan is now available as a premium option and offers features such as family sharing with up to five other users, no ads, priority tech support, desktop fingerprint identification, and additional two-factor authentication options like YubiKey and 1GB of encrypted file storage.

LastPass, enables users to store passwords and sync them across devices for easy availability. Joe Siegrist, Founder, Vice President and General Manager, Lastpass spoke about the development in a blogpost, "By offering LastPass for free across all your devices, we're making it that much easier for everyone to make good password habits the norm. Because when you have a password manager that goes everywhere you do, you have a strong foundation for securing and taking control of your identity."

It should be noted that even as password managers such as Last pass provide additional security to users, they are not 100 per cent secure and the security they provide can be breached. In 2015, LastPass became a target for hackers, who stole users' email addresses, password reminders, and encrypted master passwords.
