Mosseri didn’t provide further details about this feature, but he did share a video demonstrating how users will be able to create stickers from images present in their phone’s gallery.

According to the video, the new stickers feature will be available alongside tools like quiz, poll, captions, etc.

In our opinion, the feature to turn photos into custom stickers on Instagram can bring several benefits. This feature will allow users to express themselves in a more creative and personalised way. Custom stickers from personal photos or eligible images on Instagram will help users to stand out. Instead of using generic stickers, users will be able to create their own unique visuals, enhancing the originality of their posts and stories.

Recently, Instagram started testing a new feature that will allow users to add polls in the comments sections of their posts or reels. This feature will provide an interactive and engaging way for creators to connect with their followers. Also, creators will be able to gather real-time feedback from their audience. They will also be able to ask questions, seek opinions, or conduct quick surveys to understand their followers’ preferences, interests, or feedback on specific topics or content. Announcing this feature, Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that polls in the comments section will be rolled out to “everyone soon.”
