Meta-owned Instagram has started testing a new feature that could change the way users experience the platform. This new feature will allow users to toggle their feeds to only see content from Meta Verified accounts.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced on his Broadcast Channel, “We’re testing a way for people to explore their Instagram feed and reels by toggling to only Meta Verified accounts.”

According to the picture shared by Mosseri, the new feature will be available on the top left drop-down menu where the Following and Favorites feed options are present.
In our opinion, the introduction of a feature that will allow Instagram users to toggle their feeds to only see content from Meta Verified accounts could offer several benefits. By choosing to view content only from Meta Verified accounts, users could experience a higher level of content quality. Also, users will be able to curate their Instagram experience to focus on content that aligns with their interests and preferences.
It’s important to note that while this feature is expected to offer benefits, it might also raise questions. This new feature might make it harder for regular users to get noticed and could create a sense of inequality, favouring popular accounts over newcomers.
Recently, Instagram started testing a new feature that will allow users to turn their photos into custom stickers to use in their reels and stories. This feature will allow users to express themselves in a more creative and personalised way. Also, custom stickers from personal photos or eligible images on Instagram will help users to stand out. Instead of using generic stickers, users will be able to create their own unique visuals, enhancing the originality of their posts and stories.
