Instagram now lets you share feed posts & Reels with only ‘Close Friends’: Here’s how
Instagram's new feature allows users to share their feed posts and Reels just with the ‘Close Friends’ group.
This will eliminate the need for users to create another account specifically for connecting with their close friends.
With this feature, users will have the flexibility to share more personal moments with a smaller group that they choose.
Meta-owned Instagram is rolling out a new feature that will allow users to share their feed posts and Reels just with the ‘Close Friends’ group. This will eliminate the need for users to create another account specifically for connecting with their close friends.
Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on his Broadcast Channel, “Sharing with your Close Friends is now expanding to Feed and Reels. More types of posts with the same smaller group.”

How to share feed posts and Reels with ‘Close Friends’
Step 1: Open the Instagram app.

Step 5: Tap Done.
In our opinion, the introduction of the feature allowing users to share their feed posts and Reels exclusively with their ‘Close Friends’ group on Instagram offers several benefits. Users can maintain greater control over who sees their posts, allowing for more intimate and private sharing of personal moments.
Users previously created separate accounts to share more personal content with a specific group. This feature eliminates the need for additional accounts, streamlining the sharing process.
Recently, Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced that users will soon be able to choose when to let others see when they’ve read their messages.
