Instagram Down: Thousands of users are not able to use the Meta’s photo sharing application Instagram. Instagram users across the world are complaining about the disruptions they are facing in refreshing their feeds or sending messages.
According to the real-time outage-detecting platform Downdetector, the problems started early Friday at around 7 AM IST. The graph has been red for almost four hours with over 150 consistent reports every 30 minutes. Not only that, Instagram users in the US and other countries are also facing similar problems, as shown the Downdetector graph.
As per the platform, over 77 percent of the users are facing problems with the application, 22 percent with login, and 11 percent with uploading their content. The users in India, the US and some other countries are facing problems using Instagram.
Just like every time, X has become a party place with people finding humour in the situation. The users have moved to X and started trolling Facebook, Meta, Instagram, and CEO Mark Zuckerberg for the outage. However, Meta has not responded to the situation at the moment.
It seems that there’s a possible technical glitch or a bug which is causing disruptions to the users while refreshing their feeds or sending the messages. Some users on X have also stated that they have uninstalled and reinstalled the application to fix the problem and it worked.
