Incredible India WoNoBo walking tours app will let you experience a turn by turn walking tour from the convenience of your phone screen. The app lets you take walkthroughs of important places in cities like Agra, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai,Pune and Surat. Every walking tour also lets you know where you can shop and relax during the tour.
We tested this app on a Blackberry Z3 and it worked well without hiccups. The only issue we had with the app was the 360 degree shots in the tours were low res which was a let down. All tours in the app are incorporated with 360 degree views along with turn by turn navigation. The Wonobo app was developed in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism.
These self-guided tours you get in the app are very handy when you go visiting a new city as you can go out on your own in a new city and manage to visit important places and monuments. The Wonobo website lets you have the same experience and can help you plan a visit. It is also lets you see advice and expert comments from writers, travel experts and historians.
