Google Photos is a great photo backup service which is available for free. You can access your photos on any device and back them up on the cloud. However, if you accidentally delete any of your photos and videos you can easily recover them within 60 days. Here’s how you do it:
Open Google Photos on your computer
Sign in to your Google account if you haven’t already.
Click on ‘Trash’ in the menu on the left-hand side.
Choose the photos you wish to restore and click on the ‘Restore’ button in the top right corner.
Your photos should be available in the library now.
Open the Google Photos app on your phone.
Click on the three-lined or ‘Hamburger’ icon on the top left.
Click on ‘Trash’
Choose the photos you wish to restore by long-pressing them
Click on the ‘Restore’ button
Your photos should appear in the library now.
You moved those photos and videos to trash more than 60 days ago.
You permanently deleted those photos from the trash
You permanently deleted those photos from your phone gallery without backing up your device.
You moved it to trash and emptied your trash.
