Dark mode has become somewhat ubiquitous with modern interfaces, whether it be browsers on Android, iOS or even on desktops. Even apps like Facebook, Google Suite and WhatsApp now have Dark Mode settings embedded in their settings. But one noticeable omission from the Dark mode list was Chrome OS. Well, that’s about to change. In a report by Android Police, Chrome OS users will now have access to dark mode as well.
First seen on the Chrome OS Canary channel, it was reported that Google had been working on the feature back in September but had not completely implemented it. Do note that the feature is still ironing out the kinks and is not out for the Stable Build of Chrome OS as yet. But, if you do want to use Dark Mode right now, here’s how.
And there you have it. You’ve now installed Dark Mode on your Chrome OS. Again, do note that the feature is still in its early stages of development so do expect a few bugs and niggles here and there.
