In an effort to make stock trading and tracking a mobile affair, with access on the move, HDFC Securities has launched mobile apps for its customers. The apps are available on the company’s website, and to use them, customers will have to give HDFC consent for mobile trading.
Speaking on the launch of the new mobile trading apps, Jyotheesh Kumar, Head-Marketing, HDFC Securities, said:
“HDFC Securities has always been at the forefront of introducing pioneering technology applications in line with the consumer requirement. By the end of this month, our iPhone apps for phone and tablets would also go live for customers. Definitely we see mobile technology as a harbinger for growth.”

According to the mobile trading section of the HDFC Securities site, the company offers ‘trade on mobile’ apps for various platforms, such as Java devices, as well as Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone operating systems. An iPhone app will be coming soon.
