Hacking cases are getting more common by the day, it now impacts people’s hard work too. It is pretty common to hear that someone worked for years on their YouTube channel and it got hacked and they lost everything. Well, now Google has stepped in and taken charge of the issue. It has introduced an AI-powered tool to help creators recover hacked accounts and resume their work.

Many people have built their entire careers on YouTube and losing the channel can be a nightmare come true. To help creators avoid such a situation, YouTube has launched a troubleshooting tool for creators who think that their accounts have been compromised.

How to use this AI tool?

It is a pretty user-friendly tool and it helps creators recover their accounts. It is easily accessible through the YouTube Help Center. You have to first login into your Google account. It then helps undo changes made by the hacker, like altering the channel’s name or deleting content.

For now, the tool is available in English only. Also, only a few creators can access the feature for now. Eventually, YouTube will expand the feature further. For those without immediate access, YouTube suggests contacting their support team via social media. You can send a message to @TeamYouTube on X (formerly Twitter) for assistance.

This AI tool is a part of the broader plan by YouTube to enhance security on its platform. With this tool, YouTube aims to ensure creators can recover from hacks quickly and with minimal stress.

This seems to be a move in the correct direction as the situation can be quite dreadful. Do you think other apps such as Instagram should also follow in? Let me know in the comments.
