Google is rolling out five new updates on Chrome for Android and iOS, aiming to streamline mobile browsing. The new features promise to deliver a seamless search experience, ensuring that searching on your smartphone or tablet feels as intuitive and efficient as it does on a desktop computer.

Google has added new Chrome Actions to help you save time when you’re trying to engage with places like a local business. For instance, when searching for a restaurant, you’ll now see shortcut buttons in the search results to quickly do things like call, get directions and read reviews.
This feature is live in Chrome on Android, and will be released to Chrome on iOS later this fall.

Google has redesigned the Chrome address bar on iPads and Android tablets to take advantage of the larger screen sizes and match the company’s Material You design language.
Now, when using the address bar, the website will always be visible below the drop-down if you decide to go back to it.
Google has also released a new shortcut suggestions feature on Chrome for Android and iOS. This feature personalises your browsing experience by predicting and prioritising websites you frequently visit based on your typing habits. For example, if you often search for “schedules” to check the City Metro times, this feature will elevate City Metro in your search suggestions, making it quicker and easier to access the information you need.
You’ll now see trending search suggestions in your Chrome address bar on iOS. For thos who are unaware, this feature is already available on Android.
These trends will show up below your recent searches when you click the address bar from the New Tab page.
You will now see live sports cards in Chrome’s Discover Feed on the New Tab page on iOS and Android. You can customise the Discover Feed in the Chrome mobile app by selecting the three-dot menu.
