Google Drive for iOS updated with QuickOffice integration and new features

The update brings various new improvements and new features such as QuickOffice integration and pinch to zoom support to Slides.

Google has rolled out an update to its Drive app for iOS, adding new features and integration with QuickOffice. The update brings various improvements as well.

Among the new features the most significant one is the ability to upload multiple photos and videos. With the new version 1.2.2 of Google Drive, QuickOffice users can access files and save them to Drive.

Docs users now have Helvetica Neue to supported fonts while Sheets get diagonal scrolling and cell formatting (decimals, currency, date and more). Google has made improvements to the slideshow and animations, apart from adding pinch to zoom.

Download the latest version of the app now directly from the Apple iTunes App Store (23.2MB).

Google had last updated its iOS app in November 2012. The update brought in ability to manage upload progress, check out the recent uploads in new Uploads section, rich text copy-paste within a doc, better speed and stability, improved contact search for sharing docs.
