Google Drive for iOS adds support for file sorting
HIGHLIGHTS

Google lets you sort files in Drive for iOS by title or when last opened.

Google has rolled out an update to its Drive for iOS, adding support for file sorting. Google says the new feature has been highly requested by users.

Users can sort files using the ‘Sort’ button that’s placed next to the search bar. Sorting can be done by their title or when last opened time. Apart from the new file sorting feature, Google has added what it calls ‘under the hood stability improvements’.

Last month, Google added support for multiple accounts and printing directly from the Drive for iOS app. Last update included single sign in feature, which allows users to automatically be signed in to apps like YouTube, Google Maps, Chrome, and G .

There’ve been quite a few improvements in Drive for iOS such as performance improvements, bug fixes, and landscape editing of documents and spreadsheets on the iPhone, while the Android version saw addition of new colour themes, new buttons for uploading, creating and scanning documents.
