With the generational change dating apps, which were once something that not a lot of people chose, have become more popular and are shaping the current dating scene. Amidst the many dating apps that flood our app stores, Bumble stands out for having a women-first point of view. It gives women the freedom and motivation to make the first move. To help a lot more women do that, and to enhance what the Bumble app has to offer, the dating app has added a new set of features. This will make the entire process even more smooth.
Bumble recently announced three major features to help people match better. Here’s everything new that’s coming on Bumble:
Bumble has the “opening moves” feature to help people find and talk to their prospective matches. Building on that, the dating app now allows users to have “Multiple Opening Moves”, cause why limit yourselves to one? Now users can set up to three different openers on their profiles and the matches can choose which prompt they respond to.
Not just text-based opening moves, Bumble has now also added “Image-Based Opening Moves”. With this, users can simply start a conversation with a caption on photos. For context, it is similar to someone commenting on an Instagram post. This becomes one of the three opening moves that users can pick. They can even mix and match text and image-based openers to find the style that suits them best.
Along with these new additions, Bumble has also introduced “Interest Badge Filters”. This feature makes it easier for users to find compatible matches easily. Users can display interest badges on their profiles such as travel or fitness and then can filter out matches as per their preferences. Bumble has added over 30 new interest badges, which range from options like “memes,” “houseplants,” and “mocktails”.
