BBM updated with Stickers, photo-sharing in multi-person chats
As the competition in the messaging app segment grows, BlackBerry rolls out a slew of new features to its BBM.
BlackBerry has officially announced rolling out new features to its popular cross-platform messaging app BlackBerry Messenger (BBM). The update brings a new range of stickers and support for sending larger files. The update is available for BlackBerry, Android and iOS platforms.
Starting with Stickers, BBM users can download a range of sticker packs via the BBM Shop. Each sticker packs has about 20-25 stickers. Apart from popular characters and themes, the sticker packs include content from popular brands such as Shaun the Sheep and WWE.
With WrestleMania 30 just around the corner, WWE is planning to give away a free sticker pack to its fans through BBM. Sticker packs are either free or cost $1.99
Now BBM users can send larger files ( (up to 16MB on BlackBerry 10, Android and iPhone) . Moreover, users can now share pictures in multi-person chats.
