For Illustrator users, the latest release brings groundbreaking innovations that promise to make design tasks quicker and more intuitive. One of the standout features is the new “Generative Shape Fill (beta)”, which allows designers to add intricate vector details to shapes simply by typing text prompts in the Contextual Taskbar. This tool is powered by Adobe’s advanced Firefly Vector Model (beta), designed to deliver speed, precision, and power.

Other new additions to Illustrator include:
- Dimension Tool: Helps in plotting precise sizes for various design projects.
- Mockup (beta): Easily creates high-quality visual prototypes of designs on real-life objects like packaging and apparel.
- Retype: Converts static text into editable live text and helps identify the ideal font for projects.
- Enhanced Text to Pattern: It speeds up the creative process, empowering designers to ideate, create and scale customised vector patterns across design projects using simple text prompts.
- Style Reference: Assists in editing and scaling vector graphics to match a designer’s unique style.
- Enhanced Selection capabilities: Includes the new Enclosed Rectangular Marquee Selection for more precise object selection.
- Improved Pan and Zoom: Navigates complex documents up to 10 times faster with scalable zoom.
Photoshop also introduces several intuitive features designed to accelerate creative workflows. The new Selection Brush Tool and Adjustment Brush Tool make it easier to select, composite, and adjust images. Enhancements to the Type Tool and Contextual Taskbar further streamline text handling and image manipulation.
