Adobe has ambitious plans when it comes to AI for its video editing software, Premiere Pro. We might be able to fill parts of a scene with objects generated with the help of AI, in the coming future. In addition to this, Adobe might also allow users to remove unwanted elements from a scene with the help of AI, erasing the need for manual work. This can be similar to the magic erase feature that we have seen on many smartphones.
For this, Adobe has trained its own AI model Firefly. Firefly is already being used in Photoshop to enable the AI features for editing photos. This is a beneficial point for Adobe as it has full rights over Firefly, and will prevent any future copyright claims.

In addition to this, Adobe also said that it is trying to figure out a way by which it can allow users to use third-party tools from not just OpenAI but also from Runway and Pika Labs. If this sees the light of the day, users will be able to generate videos from Sora, and others, within Premiere Pro itself. Adobe has already run an experiment where Sora was used to generate videos in Premiere Pro.
However, we are still waiting for an official timeline to see when things will eventually be released
