Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Verdict:

The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G makes some key improvements over its predecessor – the Galaxy A32. For instance, the phone also comes with a new 5nm SoC – the Exynos 1280 and this is the first time Samsung has introduced this SoC in a Galaxy A3x series phone.  The new GPU reportedly shows a 50 per cent increase in performance compared to the A32. You also get IP67 dust and water resistance and stereo speakers, which was not present on the A32. The phone has a beautiful 90 Hz AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution.

The device comes in only one storage configuration – 6 GB / 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. 6 GB or 8 GB RAM is more than enough to take care of most multitasking without a hitch. If the 128 GB storage seems lacking to you, Samsung has also added memory expansion support via microSD card up to a whopping 1 TB. The cameras remain largely the same in comparison to the Galaxy A32, but this time around, you get OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) on the Samsung Galaxy A33. The phone has a sizeable 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging, but there’s no fast charging power brick provided in the box. The phone competes with the Realme 9 Pro Plus, Redmi Note 11 Pro+, and Samsung Galaxy A52s. This phone is a good option with a lot of things to like such as the design language, 90 Hz OLED panel, large battery, and water resistance rating. But if you don’t mind a larger device, the Galaxy A52s has a 120 Hz display and a more powerful processor, so you can go for that instead. 

Predecessor Product - The Samsung Galaxy A52 is the predecessor of the Galaxy A33 5G. The A53 has some improvements such as a more powerful SoC, IP67 rating, stereo speakers, and faster charging speeds.
