OnePlus 10T Verdict: The highly-anticipated OnePlus 10T is expected to hit Indian shores soon. Rumours suggest that the phone has been codenamed Project Ovaltine. However, it is uncertain whether the company will decide to call the phone the OnePlus 10 or OnePlus 10T. Tipster Yogesh Brar suggests that the phone could feature the flagship-grade chipset – Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We’ve tested a fair share of phones running this SoC and while it gets pretty hot during intensive tasks, it is still a highly capable chipset with very little it can’t do. It will compete with other phones featuring the same chipset such as the Samsung Galaxy S22, Realme GT 2 Pro, and iQOO 9 Pro. According to leaks and reports, the phone is expected to launch with a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. This is pretty much a flagship display rivalled by few in its price segment.

The phone is speculated to run OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. OxygenOS has received some flak in the recent months due to bugs and other issues, so it will be interesting to see if OnePlus attempts to address these concerns with their new crop of products. Moving on, the phone is expected to house a triple camera setup headlined by a 50 MP primary lens alongside a 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro camera. These cameras will probably be aided by Hasselblad optics or tuning as we’ve seen on past OnePlus phones. The phone could possibly house a 4,800 mAh battery with 150 W fast charging, but these are just speculations at this point.
