2023 has already seen smartphone maker iQOO launch a number of phones already, and now if reports are to be believed, the company is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the Z-series which is expected to be the successor of the popular iQOO Z6. Reports suggest this phone will be launched in India in March, and the device was recently teased by the company’s India CEO, Nipun Marya, via his Twitter handle.

Apart from teasing the design of the phone, it has also been confirmed that the smartphone will come with a dual camera setup on the back, with a 50MP main sensor featuring an optical image stabilisation (OIS) and another camera on the back.

Currently, there’s no information about the specifications of the phone. But it is a given that the device will be more powerful than the iQOO Z6. Talking about the iQOO Z6, the phone comes with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution, a waterdrop notch on top, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the handset comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the back, it comes with a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro sensing. For taking selfies and making video calls, the handset has a 16MP on the front. The iQOO Z6 5G boots Android 12 out of the box with a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top, and carries a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
